We are looking for a Compliance and Performance Lead with proven experience of leading and running a services within Primary Care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet the challenges of working to deadlines.

The Compliance and Performance Lead will be working closely with the Primary Care Director, Practice Managers and Clinicians, and will be responsible for creating a safe, efficient and productive service, in line with company policies and protocols, ensuing targets across primary care services are achieved.

The Compliance and Performance Lead will support operational delivery of the Primary Care services within the portfolio, providing information when necessary to senior managers to ensure effective reporting of service position against annual plan.

  • Oversee the delivery, monitoring, and reporting of QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) targets across primary care services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures within primary care practices.
  • Manage and address complaints in accordance with established protocols, ensuring timely and appropriate resolutions.
  • Monitor and support the achievement of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) across practices, identifying areas for improvement and facilitating corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to Practice Managers across primary care to help optimise operations and performance.
  • Work closely with the Deputy Director of Primary Care to support strategic initiatives and operational goals.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of practice performance against QOF, compliance standards, and KPIs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improvement plans and strategies to drive continuous performance improvement across practices.
  • Act as a key liaison between primary care teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment of goals and priorities.
  • Ensure that all practices are up-to-date with changes in regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports for senior leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as needed

Role Requirements

  • Excellent management and IT skills
  • Experience of training and supervision
  • Experience of working in Primary Care as a practice manager
  • Self motivated, highly organised, ability to remain focussed under pressure
  • Able to influence, inspire, and effectively work with those around him/her.
  • Ability to quickly and effectively establish the respect of colleagues and other health professionals.
  • Performance Management skills.
  • Ability to identify key performance indicators
