We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Company Secretary to join our team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking healthcare organisation while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

As Company Secretary, you will provide comprehensive, professional and effective secretarial and governance support to the Omnes Board and Senior Leadership Team.

You will act as the first point of contact for colleagues and key stakeholders, demonstrating sound judgement and maintaining a calm, friendly and efficient manner at all times. The role requires the ability to work independently, use initiative, and apply a high level of confidentiality to all aspects of your work.

You will be expected to undertake duties without direct supervision, while remaining flexible and responsive to changing priorities and short-notice business requirements.

The position involves a broad range of responsibilities and therefore requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, proficient word-processing and keyboard skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Main Duties

  • Provide high-level administrative and governance support to the COO, Board and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action logs.
  • Maintain the central governance repository, policies, registers and confidential documentation.
  • Manage diaries, schedules, travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate performance reporting, governance frameworks and data submissions.
  • Prepare professional communications, reports and presentations.
  • Support corporate governance, audit preparation and CQC evidence collation.
  • Assist with strategic projects, research and process improvement activity.
  • Act as first point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring professional and discreet communication.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative, coordination or governance support roles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Confident working independently, using initiative and sound judgement.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
