About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Clinical Data Controller to join our established team and be part of an organisation that truly makes a difference to patients’ lives.

You will play a key role in supporting GP practices with digital-first administrative processes, ensuring patient records are accurate, workflows are efficiently managed, and patient queries are handled in a timely, compassionate manner. This role is essential in enabling clinical teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality NHS Primary Medical Services.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy and confidentiality, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and excellent organisational skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support practices with local in-house digital procedures and systems.
  • Process clinical correspondence, including hospital letters, discharge summaries, and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records through data entry, coding, and record updates.
  • Support electronic prescribing processes where appropriate, including medication queries and repeat prescription administration.
  • Action workflow tasks assigned by clinicians accurately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage inbound patient queries via digital platforms, online requests, emails, and messaging systems.
  • Support appointment booking, triage processing, and routing of patient requests to appropriate teams.
  • Manage patient registration and de-registration processes across practices.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve workflow efficiency and the patient experience.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure effective communication and operational consistency.
